| INTRODUCTION |
|
Aujeeszky's disease known as pseudorabies has causal virus of Aujeezky's Disease Virus (ADV) and is usually infected through central nervous and respiratory system of animals. ADV is normally infected by pigs, and recovered pigs will be a virus carrier. ADV Antibody ELISA Kit tests whether antibody of ADV exists using competitive Blocking ELISA. |
| PRINCIPLE OF THE TEST |
| ADV Antibody ELISA Kit tests with a stabilized plate absorbed with antigenic germ. Reacting serum on the plate, it is distinguishable whether the antibody exists. If it does, it won't show color when reacted by blocking peroxidase marked with anti-ADV monoclonal antibody, and it will show a color when there is no antibody. The result can be interpreted by measuring optical density (OD) in 450nm using Plate Reader and comparing OD to check the existence of the antibody by calculating competitive rate. |

KIT CONTENTS |
|
ADV Antibody ELISA Kit easily and quickly screen tests antibody of infection or vaccination. It shows strong correlation with a standard testing method VN and satisfies minimum sensitivity standard of International Standard Reference Serum.
Comparison with VN Test Sensitivity: 100.0 % Specificity: 97.9% |
